Kitchen Theatre Company Food Drive will run in tandem with The Thanksgiving Play

This is a community announcement from the Kitchen area Theatre Business. It was not composed by The Ithaca Voice. To submit information releases, email [email protected].

The Kitchen Theatre Organization will proceed its 2021-2022 time with Larissa FastHorse’s The Thanksgiving Engage in, a wickedly amusing satire that roasts the politics of entertainment and well-which means political correctness alike, placing the American origin story in the comedy-crosshairs. Generously sponsored by WRFI, Tompkins Believe in Organization, CSP Management, OurBus, Barry Chester and Elissa Cogan and The Ithaca Moments, The Thanksgiving Enjoy will operate from Tuesday, November 2 through Sunday, November 21 and will offer you no cost childcare on Sunday, November 7 and Fork out What You Want Hurry tickets all through the period of the run.

How does one celebrate Thanksgiving and Native American Heritage Month at the similar time? Very good intentions collide with absurd assumptions as a troupe of terminally “woke” training artists scramble to generate a pageant that somehow manages to celebrate both equally although preventing any culturally appropriative missteps.
